A Beautiful Winter Maternity Session at the Historic Bleak House in Knoxville, Tennessee

When Faith found out she was pregnant, we automatically started discussing details of her maternity session. I've photographed all of her life events from senior sessions, to engagements, to her wedding, and now these. There is nothing I love more than capturing a growing family as they go through these sweet seasons of change. It was especially sweet for these precious friends.

We knew the session would be in December, yet she wanted to incorporate florals to add a pop of color. We chose to do the session at the Bleak House to allow for a crisp white backdrop that would allow her and her little bump to be the focal point. My friend, Bret Wilson, is a floral genius and took our Trader Joe flowers and formed them into stunning arrangements. While it was a rainy, cold winter day, you would never be able to tell that based on the outcome of this session. It was so beautiful and classic in every way.
